FANTASTIC TIP:

Install PDFCreator (freeware) and create PDF reports from SIBRA and, also, you may view the generated file automatically with the standard PDF reader installed in your computer, like Adobe Acrobat Reader! More information at SIBRA Manual´s.

This tool installs a virtual printer driver that "prints" to PDF, it is, transforms what should be shown in the paper to a PDF file. Also has the option of automatic save and open, it is, saves to PDF and open it on Adobe Acrobat Reader for example.

HOW IT WORKS?

If you want a very customizes report you need to make changes to your code replacing the printer commands like  SET DEVICE TO PRINT/SCREEN and SET PRINTER ON/OFF with RELATORIO() function in the beggining and at the end of the report as teached in the manual. And then, just use SIBRA strings to do the job as shown in tha manual. Prints even graphics and code bars!

If you have too many reports it should be a exaustive task to do, so you may want to configure your system to use a EPSON dot matrix printer (no matter what printer you are really using, even it be another fabricant like HP), as SIBRA was programmed to understand EPSON PCL´s and translate it to the way it works. Your system needs to have file output. Choose save report to file, then use SIBRA in Stand Alone mode. It will watch the directory folder for files to open and print automatically. Note that this way is not possible to enjoy all potential of SIBRA, but it is the most quickly manner to put  your system to print reports again in the way it used to be.
